There are different requirements for those applying for the first time and those renewing, as well as for those who are underage of 18. Everyone will need to review what legal documents are specifically required for their specific appointment. Examples, birth certificates, photo IDs, youth under 18 who live in dual households will need to have both parents at the appointment to complete the passport application.

*If your passport is set to expire while on the trip it needs to be renewed prior to the trip.  If it’s set to expire shortly afterwards renew in advance in case, there are any travel delays.

Current Processing Times as of 11/11/24:

Routine: 4-6 weeks*

Expedited: 2-3 weeks and an extra $60*

*Consider the total time it will take to get a passport when you are booking travel. Processing times only include the time your application is at a passport agency or center.

  • It may take up to 2 weeks for applications to arrive at a passport agency or center. It may take up to 2 weeks for you to receive a completed passport after we print it. 
  • Processing times + mailing times = total time to get a passport

My suggestion is to search for a location where you can also take your photo on site, as well as book your appointment in advance. Call places to book appointments as soon as possible as appointment times can become limited during peak travel planning times. 

If choosing Routine, assume it will take 10 weeks to get your passport from day of application appointment to receiving it at home. Players committed to the tour should apply for their passport NOW.  The last week to order passports with the 10-week window and have passport in hand by April 1st, would be January 21st, 2025.
