What We’re Doing

This summer, Liberty Rugby Club is partnering with TNT Fireworks to operate a fireworks stand from June 28 through July 4 at Saar’s Grocery in Tukwila.

This is a new fundraiser for Liberty, and we’re hoping to make it a tradition for years to come. Unlike many fundraisers, this opportunity allows us to raise funds through our time and effort rather than asking families to spend additional money.

We are also working on ways for families to share and promote the stand within their own networks, including pre-sale opportunities and other ways to support sales before the week begins.

How the Profits Help Liberty Rugby

The Board has approved the following distribution of proceeds:

50%: Long-term reserve fund for club stability and future growth

50%: International tours and operations

The more successful this fundraiser is, the more we can invest in our players while keeping rugby affordable and accessible for families.

How You Can Help

Volunteer to sign up

We need volunteers for setup, sales, and breakdown throughout the week.

Players, parents, coaches, friends, and family members are all welcome to help. Yes, younger players can help sell alongside an adult!

Share With Your Community

Tell your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, and social networks where they can purchase fireworks while supporting Liberty Rugby Club.

  • Location: Saar’s Grocery
  • Dates: June 28th – July 4th
  • Hours: 10:00am – 10:00pm, extended hours on Friday and Saturday

Every purchase helps increase the funds available for tours, equipment, and player opportunities.
