Liberty Rugby Club is looking for volunteers who want to help strengthen our programs and create a positive experience for every player and family.

We currently have five board leadership opportunities:

Treasurer

Oversee the club’s financial records, budgeting, payments, bank reconciliation, and reporting. This role works with the board to promote transparency, responsible spending, and long-term financial stability. Financial or bookkeeping experience is helpful.

President

Help set the club’s direction, support the board, oversee governance and safety requirements, and represent Liberty in the rugby and local communities. The President brings people together and helps keep the club focused on its mission and priorities.

Director of Marketing or Recruitment

Our current marketing director is interested in moving into recruitment, so the available position will depend on that transition and the interests of potential volunteers.

The Marketing Director manages the website, social media, club announcements, and branding. The Recruitment Director leads school and community outreach, introductory rugby events, and efforts to welcome new players and families.

High School Director

Support the organization and development of our high school program. This director serves as a liaison among the board, coaches, players, and parents; monitors registration and rosters; supports coaches; and helps coordinate team events and game-day needs.

Youth Director

Support our younger teams and families by coordinating communication, registration, rosters, coach needs, and team logistics. This role helps ensure our youth programs remain organized, welcoming, and focused on player development.

Board members work collaboratively with coaches, team managers, families, and other volunteers—you will not be expected to do everything alone. If you are interested but aren’t sure which role is the best fit, we would still love to talk with you.
